CGNNT acquires Non Destructive Testing (NDT) business
In March 2018 CGN acquired a majority stake in Dan Dong Hua Ri Science Electric Co Ltd (HRE). The company specialises in the design and manufacture of NDT products and systems.
The HRE range of x-ray based inspection and testing equipment, as well automated control systems, are used in testing and manufacturing facilities or as portable equipment that is available to support field operations. The HRE double drive pipeline crawler was the first such system in China.
CGNNT successfully developed and introduced a range of NDT equipment using a lineal accelerator with switchable energy 4 to 6 MeV in May 2017. The acquisition of HRE considerably expands the existing portfolio of products and systems making CGNNT a leading domestic supplier of NDT equipment.
